What we refuse to ship — and why.

The standard is not a label. It is a set of decisions already made for you: which fibres may be worn against skin, which seams carry a working week, which factories we still stand behind two years later.

II / IVMaterial

Fibres we trust the customer to touch.

Öko-Tex-certified core fibres: Cotton, linen, tencel, and their blends — all STANDARD 100 certified. No fibre meets skin without the certificate on file. Polyester appears only where function demands it and we justify it in writing inside the quote.
Colour stability through 50 industrial washes: Reactive dyeing, tested against the trade's real chemistry — hair dye, bleach, alcohol wipe, hygiene sponge, acetone. The garment must look the same after forty washes as after four, otherwise it does not leave the studio.
The palette is reasoned, not trended: Cream, forest, oxblood, linen must, slate. Chosen from skin tones, not seasons. The series can be reordered without drift — no shade shifts between runs, because we order from the same roll or not at all.

III / IVConstruction

Seams built for a working week, not a photograph.

Double stitching on load-bearing seams: Shoulders, armholes, pocket openings, centre-back. Where the garment takes daily strain we double the stitching and reinforce with tape. A seam that splits after six months is a broken promise — and that is written out of the studio.
Pockets built for what they carry: Scissors, comb, phone, hand sanitiser, pen, receipts. Pocket depth and base reinforcement are drawn for the actual tool, not a template. Nothing should sag, nothing should rattle when the customer sits close by.
Fully traceable supply chain: Every garment is shipped with a datasheet — material, origin, wash cycle, expected lifespan, factory, batch. At an IVO inspection, hygiene audit, or internal review the paperwork is already in place. We only work with factories we have walked through ourselves.

IV / IVWhere we stand firm

The standard binds us before the quote is written.

If a business asks for something outside the standard we say no — even if it costs the order. That is the only reason Plaggra can be chosen again and again. Write to the studio or read the process.
